Irish teenage sensation Daniel Cummins burst on the scene in 2007 when one of his first demos was selected by Mark Farina for inclusion on his ‘Live In Tokyo’ compilation for OM Records. With ‘No Jack City’ the 19 year-old from Cork joins the big boys delivering his debut EP for Nordic Trax, including a slamming remix from the always-reliable JT Donaldson. Plays and support for this EP have come from all sorts, including house heavyweights Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, Miguel Migs, Fish Go Deep, Jon Cutler, Chuck Love, LawnChair Generals, and of course Mr. Farina who championed Daniel’s productions out of the gate. For fans of classic 90’s deep and jazzy house, this release is a treat. Dispensing with all the trendy-ness of the current big room house madness, Suitable early, late, on the headphones, in a lounge vibe or at a warehouse party, there’s something for everyone on this EP.
