Nordic Trax brings you another promising talent in Newcastle producer Cristoph. Rich with experience in deejaying and musicianship, Cristophs Big H EP comes forged as an effective collection of bass-driven Deep House thats been road tested during his sets in Ibiza and across Europe. A relative newcomer, Cristoph has already had a #1 on Defected which found its way onto Radio 1 and in Groove Armadas season-closing set at We Love (Space). Meanwhile, longtime NT supporter Nacho Marco delivered his knock-out remix of Big H which made its world premiere at the closing of Sonar 2013 broadcast on national radio across Spain. The future looks bright for Cristoph.

Big H chugs out of the starting blocks with reverberated congas and syncopated hat sequences.Nifty melodicism and tenebrous vocal chops sit above a robust foundation as tension continues to climb to the close.

Nacho Marcos remix wades in with neatly mapped percussion ahead of some allaying synth tones and a rich bass pattern. The vocals glow through piano stabs as tension lifts and falls throughout.

VMC kicks off with palpable claps and hats swinging alongside panned vocal chops and a taught kick. A hypnotic synth sequence skewers through the mix before vocals are layered to handraising effect whilst the Dub version keeps things anchored down with a slightly more brooding atmosphere.

Waal is a jackin and physical production. In a manner akin to Eats Everything, muscular bass patterns and immaculately plotted vocal shops gambol in and catch the listener off guard. Tension climbs in a stretched rise thats guaranteed to satisfy prime time dance floors.
